1960’s and the Oldies Music

You can often hear the word “Oldies” from our parents and grandparents. Do you know the meaning? It means the famous music during the years 1950 and 1970. Some people say “Golden oldies” which means that the music between 1950 and 1960. Music genres such as R&B, pop & rock are the most popular music at that time.
When it comes to lyrics, they have written very cute lines than today’s lyric writers. They wrote their own experience as words and they brought them to rhythm very beautifully. They sang all their feelings no matter whether it was love or hate. Especially love, they had done it tremendously. No one can say that that was bad. For example, when a boy loved a girl, he directly proposed his love. He didn’t wander around for all girls, Likewise, when a girl accepted the boys love, the boy sang all his happiness and the love on her. When we look on today’s lyrics, they are rubbish and they can never compete with the oldies lyrics. I am sure, you can’t find single “good love song “like the Oldies Songs.
Okay, let’s talk about some music now. The first and foremost thing of the oldies music is they are absolutely “real”. They played all real musical instruments in their tracks. But today, the musicians are not making the music but the computers! If all computers in the world stop working today, that’s finished for musicians.
You can realize the oldies music now. Do you know the1960’s History? Unlike today, our grandparents were suffered lots of problems in the 60’s. Inflation was at its peak at that time. Today’s $7 is equal to that days $1. That was how the prices of the products were. You will wonder, Volkswagen beetle car’s then rate was $1700!
